Formación

  • 6+ years’ experience in a helpdesk, deskside support environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of modern operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.

The IT Operations Supervisor’s role is to oversee and provide professional, technical, and operational leadership to the IT Operations Team. The IT Operations Supervisor will install hardware, software, patches, and participate in research

and development to continuously improve IT and meet business needs. The IT Operations Supervisor will also actively work with other teams to assist with projects and implement and support new technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • IT Operations Supervisor is a working supervisor responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT Service Desk.
  • Assist and train IT Operations personnel in the resolution of support tickets and administration of systems.
  • Develop and monitor metrics to assess the overall quality, performance, and productivity of the IT Operations team.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of IT Support Analysts.
  • Manage inventory lifecycle – procurement, deployment, tracking, disposal.
  • Reduce incidents by analyzing incident trends and working with.
  • Provide specialized technical expertise in researching and resolving complex technology problems which may involve coordination of hardware and software vendor support.
  • Documents IT systems and processes.
  • Research and propose new system solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer technology related field preferred.
  2. Technical certifications in Windows 10, O365, Exchange and SCCM preferred.
  3. 6+ years’ experience in a helpdesk, deskside support environment.

Qualifications List

  1. Advanced knowledge of modern operating systems (Windows 10, Server 2016, Server 2019, etc).
  2. Experience with hardware and software in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 platform.
  4. Project Management leadership experience.
  5. Excellent computer hardware/software problem solving skills.
  6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  7. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
