Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business engineering, IT or related field.
• Fully bilingual (Spanish/English).
• Experience with Microsoft O365.
• Understanding of manufacturing, engineering and operations processes.
• Familiarity with IoT, data analytics, automation.

Role Purpose

Responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, identifying opportunities for digital transformation, and supporting the implementation of digital initiatives under the guidance of experienced professionals. The ultimate goal is to drive innovation and enhance the organization's competitiveness in the digital age.

An IT intern supports the IT department by assisting with technical tasks, gaining hands‑on experience in various IT functions, and contributing to projects that enhance their skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze opportunities for digital transformation within engineering, and operations processes
• Support the implementation and evaluation of digital initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and productivity
• Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in digital transformation
• Collaborate withcross-functional teams to develop and deploy innovative solutions
• Assist in the development of businesscases for digital projects
• Create and present reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Support the change management process associated with digital transformation initiatives
• Providing technical support, to assist with providing technical support to users. This includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Network administration, to provide local assistance with installing, configuring, and maintaining network systems and devices.
• Documenting processes and procedures to assist with documenting IT processes and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
• Participating in training and professional development opportunities to improve their skills and knowledge in IT.
• Shadowing experienced IT professionals in order to observe and learn from experienced IT professionals to gain a deeper understanding of the field.

Experiences/Education - Required

• Bachelor’s degree in business engineering, IT or in a related field
• Fully bilingual
• Experience in working with Microsoft O365
• Understanding of manufacturing, engineering, and operations processes
• Familiarity with digital tools and technologies (e.g., IoT, data analytics, automation)

• Experience with coding in R, Python, SQL or other
• Understanding of IT infrastructure devices and equipment
