Job summary

Corning RAM Manufacturing Plant in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking an IT Engineer I to support manufacturing systems and plant-floor technologies, coordinating digital improvement projects and delivering measurable business value.

You will work with local and corporate teams to resolve operational issues, develop dashboards, and ensure production systems are reliable and visible. Strong foundation in IT and bilingual English/Spanish are beneficial for global collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, CE, IS or related field.
0–3 years in software development, application IT support, or related technical field.
Strong foundations in programming and experience with databases/SQL or scripting.
Experience creating dashboards or reports.
Foundational knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware troubleshooting, and incident management.
Ability to coordinate project activities and guide technical contributors.
English and Spanish proficiency for support conversations and collaboration with global teams.

Responsibilities

Support FWD/MES, IMS, and manufacturing apps by investigating incidents and validating restoration.
Develop and maintain dashboards and digital solutions to improve manufacturing workflows and traceability.
Configure and troubleshoot Windows workstations, printers, scanners, and industrial computers.
Coordinate projects with technicians, engineers, stakeholders, vendors, and corporate IT teams, with clear updates.
