Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking an IT Engineer I to support manufacturing systems and plant-floor technologies at the Reynosa RAM facility. You will collaborate with local and global teams to resolve operational issues and deliver measurable value.

The role emphasizes project coordination, dashboard development, and hands-on configuration of workstations and peripherals, with opportunities to contribute to digital improvements and data visibility on the shop floor. On-site schedule 7:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 0 to 3 years of relevant IT experience or internships.
• Solid programming foundations and knowledge of databases/SQL or scripting.
• Experience developing dashboards or reports.
• Foundational Windows Microsoft 365 and incident management knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate project activities with teams and stakeholders.
• English and Spanish proficiency for collaboration and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Support FWD/MES, IMS, and manufacturing apps by investigating incidents and coordinating actions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and digital solutions to improve workflows and traceability.
• Configure and troubleshoot Windows workstations, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Coordinate projects and activities with technicians, engineers, vendors, and IT teams with clear updates.
