Univar Solutions Mexico is seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to design, implement, and support our enterprise network infrastructure across global operations. You will handle LAN/WAN, routing and switching, network security, and incident escalation, collaborating with service providers and internal teams.

This role requires strong TCP/IP knowledge, Cisco expertise, and hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Wireshark and SolarWinds, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security solutions.
• Configure and support routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and VPNs.
• Serve as a Level 2/3 escalation point for network incidents, outages, and performance issues.
• Monitor network health, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage network optimization activities, including QoS, capacity planning, system upgrades, and configuration management.
• Coordinate with service providers and vendors on circuit installations, outages, and infrastructure projects.

Univar Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for network operations, troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, infrastructure improvements, and providing Level 2/3 technical support across a global environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security solutions.
• Configure and support routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and VPNs.
• Serve as a Level 2/3 escalation point for network incidents, outages, and performance issues.
• Monitor network health, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage network optimization activities, including QoS, capacity planning, system upgrades, and configuration management.
• Coordinate with service providers and vendors on circuit installations, outages, and infrastructure projects.
• Support change management, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

Required

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and enterprise network architectures.
• Experience supporting large-scale LAN/WAN environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel, STP, VPNs, ACLs, QoS, and network security concepts.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, including Wireshark and SolarWinds.
• Experience working with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred

• Experience with Aruba wireless solutions and Aruba Central.
• Experience supporting VoIP environments.
• Knowledge of Opengear console management solutions.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, and network migrations.
