Univar Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure in a global environment. The role covers network operations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure improvements with Level 2/3 support.

The position involves designing LAN/WAN, configuring routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, VPNs), monitoring health, and coordinating with providers.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and enterprise network architectures.
• Experience supporting large-scale LAN/WAN environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel, STP, VPNs, ACLs, QoS, and network security concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security solutions.
• Configure and support routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and VPNs.
• Serve as a Level 2/3 escalation point for network incidents, outages, and performance issues.
• Monitor network health, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage network optimization activities, including QoS, capacity planning, system upgrades, and configuration management.
• Coordinate with service providers and vendors on circuit installations, outages, and infrastructure projects.
• Support change management, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
