Emerson & Company is seeking an ISV Application Engineer in Metepec, Mexico. You will review RFQs, map customer requirements to Emerson product offerings, and prepare technical and commercial quotations for Impact Partners and customers.

You will act as a liaison between Impact Partners and factories for non-standard products, assist pricing and purchasing teams, ensure compliance with applicable codes, and oversee the quote until it is submitted to the customer.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Engineering or STEM.
• 5 years of related engineering or valve experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Background with valves and actuation experience is highly desirable.
• Exposure or prior experience with Oracle or CRM/ERP systems is a plus.

Description

In this role, your responsibilities will be

You will review Request for Quote (RFQ) to customer requirements and suitability of Emerson product offerings to meet customer needs.

Prepare technical & commercial quotation/response to Impact Partners, and internal and external customers.

You will act as a liaison between Impact Partners and factories for non-standard products and special applications to convert RFQ to final bid in timely manner.

Assist pricing and purchasing teams with list and purchase price information.

Apply knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards to customer specifications and answer technical questions based on these standards and ensure that products specified are in compliance.

Assist Impact Partners to navigate Emerson resources to find accurate answers through published information to ensure the fastest response.

Respond to all customer requests for expedited emergency shipment of parts and service kits, documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, and Specification Sheets.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of RFQ and maintain ownership and oversight of the quote until they are acknowledged and submittal documents have been forwarded to the customer.

Document customer complaints and refer to Quality Assurance.

Assist other departments in resolving issues related to customer sales and service.

Communicates with internal and external customers on items that require their guidance, intervention and technical support.

Continual Development and grow Isolation Valve product knowledge.

Flexibility to collaborate with global teams, including the ability to work outside of standard U.S. business hours when needed.

Additional tasks as required by management.

For this role, you will need:

Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Engineering or STEM degree

5 years of related engineering or valve experience in lieu of a degree

Previous work experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications

A background with valves and actuation experience is highly desirable

Exposure or prior experience with Oracle or using customer relationship management (CRM) and ERP system is a plus.
