ABB is seeking an IS Application Development Architect in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco. You will own software solution architecture across multiple categories, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and delivering reliable IS services to the business.

You will lead design and build, guide installation of new IS solutions, consult with stakeholders, and drive incident resolution while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management/Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a solution architect in SAP ABAP.
• Fluent in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong in Microsoft Office 365 applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint).
• Familiar with SAP Cloud Solutions and Architecture.
• Plus understanding of project management methodologies.
• Plus understanding of interface technologies (ALE, BizTalk, Gentran, RFC).
• Plus experience in Microsoft .NET and C#.
• Sound knowledge of application development life-cycles, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.

Responsabilidades

You will also showcase your expertise by consulting, advising, and supporting on the installation of new IS solutions/services, or changing existing IS solutions/services.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSiteThis role is contributing to the NEMA Business in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco.You will be mainly accountable for:Ensuring that the IS solutions/services provide the required functionality, meet the expectations of business and are reliable, maintainable, compliant, and auditable.Approving, signing-off, and building any solution to be implemented on ABB production environment, within the respective service line, ensuring required quality and safety standards.Contributing to IS problem and incident management by identifying and eliminating the reoccurring defects.Defining the technical IS solution and ensuring alignment with other modules and surrounding IS applications through cooperation and collaboration among IS solution architects and IS delivery units.Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)Bachelor’s degree in Information Management/Technology, or related fields (computer science; information science; software engineering, etc).Minimum 5 years related experience as solution architect in SAP ABAP.Exceptional analytical, and communication skills.Fluent in SAP ABAP development.Strong in usage of Microsoft Office 365 applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint).Familiar with SAP Cloud Solutions and Architecture.Plus understanding of project management methodologies.Plus understanding of interface technologies (ALE, BizTalk, Gentran, RFC, etc).Plus experience in Microsoft .NET and C#.Sound knowledge of application development life-cycles, testing, implementation, systems administration and post implementation support.Self-starter/self-Learning and Strong team player and collaborator.Fluency in spoken and written English.Building a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
