Job summary

IVEMSA in Mexicali is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Marketplace Manager to lead and expand our online sales across Amazon, eBay, Mercado Libre, and other channels from our Mexicali facility.

You will own account performance, optimize pricing and advertising, manage stock across platforms, and collaborate with operations, IT, and purchasing to grow revenue while maintaining excellent account health.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience managing e-commerce marketplaces.
• Proven experience managing Amazon, eBay, Mercado Libre, or comparable platforms.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of marketplace pricing, advertising, Buy Box optimization, seller performance and account health.
• Experience handling returns, RMAs, disputes and marketplace claims.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with reporting and inventory systems.
• Knowledge of connectors between marketplaces and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own marketplace accounts (Amazon, eBay, Mercado Libre) and drive sales performance.
• Manage pricing, advertising campaigns, promotions, and profitability budgets.
• Maintain account health and compliance with marketplace policies; resolve escalations with platform reps.
• Coordinate with warehouse and ops to ensure accurate inventory across channels.
• Identify new channels and negotiate terms to expand online presence.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports across channels.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven E-Commerce Marketplace Manager to lead and expand our online sales operations from our Mexicali facility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketplace Management & Sales Performance

• Take full ownership of existing marketplace accounts, including Amazon, eBay, Mercado Libre, and other current or future e-commerce channels.
• Monitor daily sales performance, revenue, profitability, conversion rates, and overall account performance.

2. Pricing, Advertising & Profitability

• Manage marketplace advertising campaigns, promotional activities, and advertising budgets.
• Analyze marketplace fees, shipping costs, return rates, and other expenses impacting profitability.

3. Account Health, Claims & Returns

• Maintain excellent account health across all marketplaces and ensure compliance with platform policies.
• Coordinate with operations and technical teams to resolve product-related issues.
• Handle marketplace escalations and work directly with platform representatives to resolve issues promptly.

4. Inventory & Stock Management

• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to maintain accurate inventory availability across all sales channels.
• Identify high-demand products and communicate replenishment requirements to the commercial and purchasing teams.
• Support inventory planning, forecasting, and stock optimization.

5. Business Development & Channel Expansion

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new e-commerce channels and marketplace opportunities.
• Negotiate marketplace commission rates, seller fees, advertising incentives, promotional support, and other commercial terms.

6. Reporting & Performance Management

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering sales, profitability, inventory, advertising, and marketplace performance.
• Ensure accurate data, reporting, and communication across departments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce marketplaces, preferably within consumer electronics, IT hardware, or refurbished products.
• Proven experience managing Amazon, eBay, Mercado Libre, or comparable online marketplaces.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish, written and spoken (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of marketplace pricing, advertising, Buy Box optimization, seller performance, and account health.
• Experience handling returns, RMAs, customer disputes, and marketplace claims.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data, product costs, marketplace fees, and profit margins.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with reporting and inventory management systems.
