This position reports to

IS Source Systems Manager

Your role and responsibilities

The IS DevOps & Data Quality Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions and automated workflows to enhance data quality insights and ensure consistency between source and target systems. The engineer combines skills in DevOps, data integration, automation, AI, and software development, with a focus on optimizing data processes. This role involves ensuring that data within the A3 platform is accurate, complete, and reliable. The engineer will collaborate closely with source teams, architects, and developers to establish, monitor, and improve data quality standards. Key responsibilities include reporting on data confidence, identifying issues with data loads, and maintaining high-quality data throughout its lifecycle. The work model for this role is hybrid and contributes to the Core IS Services. Main accountabilities include:

1. Designing, developing, and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions, with extensive work in Snowflake for data warehousing and cloud-based data solutions.
2. Developing and integrating data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF), implementing API-based integrations for seamless data flow, and automating data processes to improve efficiency.
3. Ensuring data quality reporting to identify anomalies and maintain data integrity, while exploring and integrating LLMs and AI-driven solutions for data analysis and automation.
4. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data pipelines and automation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or Business Analytics.
• Experience developing custom automation tools using C# and Python, with extensive expertise in Data Integration and Source Systems.
• Hands-on experience in Solution Architecture, Software Development, Data Governance, and Quality Assurance.
• Proficiency in DevOps, Azure Solutions Architecture, SQL, Snowflake, ADF, Monitoring Tools, and Data Ingestion Metrics.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, along with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
