Willis Towers Watson in Mexico City seeks an Investment Manager Onboarding Associate to coordinate documentation for onboarding investment managers, liaising with internal teams, managers, custodians, banks and external parties to move onboarding forward and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include incorporating client and investment details into agreements, reviewing AML/KYC-related documents, coordinating reviews of onboarding docs, and managing signatures and execution timelines.

Formación

• At least three years of experience in investment operations or related financial services.
• Undergraduate degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, International Business, Accounting or related field. A law degree or other relevant legal background is preferred.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Understanding financial contracts, legal terminology, and investment fund structures.
• Project management or project coordination skills, strong attention to detail, and meeting deadlines while handling competing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred experience in investment manager onboarding, institutional investments, pension fund operations, or investment consulting.
• Agreement preparation, document review, or legal documentation within fiduciary, trust fund, or pension fund environments.
• AML, KYC, client due diligence, or financial services onboarding processes.

Responsabilidades

• Incorporate client, investment, and operational details into agreements and onboarding docs.
• Review client documents for AML/KYC compliance.
• Coordinate the legal, investment, administrative, and operational review of onboarding agreements.
• Manage signature and execution timelines and follow up on outstanding items.
• Communicate with investment managers, custodians, banks, and external parties to align documentation and trade timelines.
• Monitor onboarding processes, priorities, risks, and required actions across teams.
• Build cross-functional relationships and clearly communicate issues and status updates.
• Develop knowledge of investment consulting, pension portfolios, and fund structures.
