AIT Worldwide Logistics in Mexico City seeks an International Operations Agent III to coordinate day-to-day import/export shipments into and out of the USA across all modes.

You will qualify shipping details with customers, prepare quotations, set schedules, and work with international partners to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in air/ocean operations, CCS/CargoWise certifications, and bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years Experience in Air, Ocean, Import & Export operations Required.
• 7+ years Experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics Preferred.
• CCS-Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) required; Certified Cargowise Operator (CCO) required; Dangerous Goods Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work with customers to qualify shipping requirements and obtain necessary details for shipment quotation and execution.
• Prepare profitable quotations accurately.
• Set shipping schedules and communicate with customers, deliverers, and ports to verify loading, departures and arrivals.
• Coordinate day-to-day import/export of products, including reviewing orders and documents.
• Track and communicate delays, damages, problems and resolve issues.
• Manage all aspects of air and/or ocean international operations (customer service, data entry, operations, billing).
• Manage tracking of shipments and update system upon verification; identify deviations and rectify.
• Coordinate recovery/delivery schedules with cartage agents and international partners.
• Partner with local sales teams to communicate problems to customers and partners.
• Ensure SOP instructions and KPIs are followed and shipments billed within timelines.

Resumen

The International Operations Agent III is responsible for coordinating the day to day import/export of international freight forwarding shipments into and out of the USA across all modes of international transportation based upon customer requests.

Responsabilidades

• Work with customers to qualify their shipping requirements and obtain all details (regulations, certificates, documentation) necessary for shipment quotation and operating in order to ensure the customer’s request is satisfied.
• Prepare profitable quotations accurately.
• Set shipping schedules and communicate with customers, deliverers, and ports to verify loading, departures and arrivals in a timely manner.
• Coordinate the day to day import and/or export of products, including reviewing orders and documents.
• Track and communicate all delays, damages, problems and work to resolve customer issues.
• Responsible for all aspects of air and/or ocean international operations such as customer service, data entry of shipments, operations and billing.
• Manage all aspects of tracking shipments to ensure shipment is moving as scheduled and update system immediately upon verification. Identify and rectify if a shipment has deviated from its schedule.
• Coordinate recovery/delivery schedules with various cartage agents and international partners.
• Partner with local sales teams to communicate problems to customers, international partners and other stations, as needed.
• Ensure all customers’ SOP instructions are adhered to and AIT KPIs and guidelines are followed and met.
• Ensure all shipments are properly billed within company guidelines and timelines.

Experience Qualifications

• 5+ years Experience in Air, Ocean, Import & Export operations Required and
• 7+ years Experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics Preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Advanced knowledge of ITAR, DG or TSA work experience/regulations. (High proficiency)
• General Computer Skills (Medium proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

• CCS-Certified Coding Specialist Certified Cargowise Specialist (CCS) is Required and
• Certified Correctional Officer (CCO) Certified Cargowise Operator (CCO) is Required
• Dangerous Goods Certification Preferred
