AIT Worldwide Logistics in Mexico is seeking an International Operations Agent II to coordinate daily import and export activities across air, ocean, and surface for international shipments. You will ensure compliance with customer requirements and contracts while working across multiple transport modes.

The role emphasizes building trusted relationships with customers, preparing quotations, planning operations, tracking shipments, and collaborating with partners and sales to improve service.

Formación

• 2–5 years applied on the job and industry experience.
• Proficiency in CargoWise is a plus.
• Experience with international freight operations and customs processes.
• Strong English communication, both oral and written.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Build trusted relationships with customers and act as their one‑stop shop by advising, qualifying, and confirming shipment requirements—including regulations, certificates, and documentation
• Prepare accurate quotations, manage the full offer process, and recommend optimal end‑to‑end logistics solutions
• Plan and coordinate day‑to‑day international import and export operations across air, ocean, and surface transport
• Monitor shipment progress, identify delays, and ensure timely communication with customers, agents, and partners
• Manage data entry, billing, and invoicing to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with SOPs and KPIs
• Coordinate recovery and delivery schedules with cartage agents and international partners, collaborating with sales on service updates
• Maintain compliant documentation and support continuous process improvement
• Support onboarding and cross‑training of new team members

As International Operations Agent you will be responsible for the effective coordination, progress monitoring, and management of all communication related to the daily import and export of international freight‑forwarding shipments into and out of the United Kingdom. You will oversee shipment handling across all transportation modes - air, ocean, and surface - ensuring that all activities are carried out in line with customer requirements and the contractual agreements in place.

Responsabilidades

• Build strong, trusted‑advisor relationships with customers and act as their one‑stop shop by advising, qualifying, and confirming shipment requirements—including regulations, certificates, and documentation
• Prepare accurate and profitable quotations, manage the full offer process, and recommend optimal end‑to‑end logistics solutions
• Plan and coordinate day‑to‑day international import and export operations across air, ocean, and surface transport, including order review, documentation handling, brokerage, and customs‑entry processing
• Monitor shipment progress through proactive tracking and tracing, identify and resolve delays or issues, and ensure timely communication with customers, agents, and partners.
• Manage all operational data entry, billing, and invoicing activities to ensure financial accuracy, including adherence to customer SOPs, AIT KPIs, regulatory requirements, and end‑of‑month deadlines
• Coordinate recovery and delivery schedules with cartage agents and international partners, while collaborating with sales teams on service updates and customer needs
• Maintain compliant documentation, support continuous process improvement, and ensure workflows are optimized and aligned with internal guidelines
• Participate in continuous learning, support onboarding and cross‑training of new team members, and perform additional duties as business needs require

Calificaciones

• 2 - 5 years applied on the job and industry experience
• CargoWise software experience a plus
• Customer Focus: knowing the customer business needs and acting accordingly; proactively addresses customer concerns
• Professional level oral & written English language skills
• Problem Solving: Having the ability to identify problems and issues of varying complexities and find effective solutions, considering multiple sides of an issue
• Attention to Detail: Ensures one’s own work are complete and accurate; monitors the quality of work, verifies information
• Knowledge of raising and discharging of T1's would be an advantage
