Arcadis in Toluca-Atlacomulco area is seeking technology professionals with a background in Electronics, Systems, Mechatronics or Robotics. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting and installation across hardware, software and network components for Tolling/ITS systems.

You will support incidents, perform onsite deployments, and document technical findings for clients while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in English is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective troubleshooting on hardware and software components for Tolling and ITS Systems.
• Provide technical support to troubleshoot incidents in person or remotely.
• Conduct onsite installation, integration and deployment activities across mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and hardware domains.
• Prepare technical reports for clients detailing incidents and resolutions.
• Interact with clients and engineers to communicate root causes and solutions.

Job Description

We are looking for highly motivated technology professionals preferably with experience integrating hardware/software solutions, well versed in english language with a technical degree in Electronics, Software Systems, Mechatronics or Robotics. Main activities of this position are:

• Perform preventive and corrective troubleshooting & maintenance on hardware and software components for Tolling and/or ITS Systems (ITS) such as:
  • Photovoltaic power system
  • Cameras
  • Switches
  • Printers
  • Electrical/Electronic Cabinets
  • PTZ (cameras on poles up to 14m)
  • Variable Message signs (Small, medium, large)
  • Sensors
  • Computer equipment
  • CCTVs
  • Operating Systems
  • Switches
• Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve incidents in person or remotely depending on the situation.
• Perform onsite visits, installation, integration and deployment activities involving mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and hardware components
• Continuously acquire technical skills on technologies to keep up with technological evolution.
• Prepare technical reports for the clients on incidents, maintenance and their resolution.
• Interact with clients to explain root cause/solution
• Capture the client's needs regarding the improvements required to operate their systems; document details shall be enough to explain the engineering/software development team what is required.
• Interact with designers, developers and other specialists to troubleshoot solutions for the clients.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic network issues
• Ability to read and interpret various logs.
• Ability to assemble industrial/network/electrical connectors
• Lift equipment

Qualifications

• Understanding of communication network concepts.
• Understanding information security, firewalls, switches and routers.
• Troubleshooting operating systems
• Providing preventive maintenance to electrical/electronic components
• Ability to work independently, but also oriented towards teamwork.
• Oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to learn and take on new challenges.
• Availability to travel occasionally and to work under pressure.
• Use of Microsoft office tools.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles.
• Work in heights up to 9m tall.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering or related.
• English proficiency is a plus
• Strong knowledge of one or more of the following fields: Electronic design, systems engineering, networking, operating systems, programming, autoCAD, operating systems
• Located near Toluca-Atlacomulco area
• Electrical/Electronic instrumentation utilization.
