Testia Mexico is seeking a highly skilled NDT Level 2 Inspector to join our quality team in Testa, Mexico. The role involves performing various non-destructive testing inspections on aerospace components and structures to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

The candidate will interpret results, document findings, and maintain inspection records while ensuring equipment calibration and safe working practices. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• NDT Level 2 cert in two methods is required.
• Experience 3–5 years in aerospace NDT inspections.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, processes, and quality standards.
• Proficient in using NDT equipment and interpreting results.
• Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform NDT inspections (UT, ET, RT, MT, PT) on aerospace parts and assemblies.
• Interpret results per specs, codes, standards, and procedures.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified NDT Level 2 Inspector to join our team in Testa, Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various non-destructive testing inspections on aerospace components and structures to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections, including but not limited to Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing (ET), Radiographic Testing (RT) interpretation, Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), on aerospace parts and assemblies.
• Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable specifications, codes, standards, and procedures.
• Document inspection findings accurately and thoroughly, preparing detailed reports and maintaining inspection records.
• Operate and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Participate in the development and improvement of NDT procedures and techniques.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other inspectors and team members as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of NDT equipment.
• Continuously stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in NDT.

Job Qualifications

• Valid NDT Level 2 certification in at least two methods (e.g., UT, ET, RT, MT, PT) in accordance with EN 4179 or NAS 410. Additional methods are a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing NDT inspections in the aerospace industry.
• Strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in using NDT equipment and interpreting results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments.
• Knowledge of FAA . AFAC or other relevant aviation regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
