Rheem Manufacturing Company in Nuevo Laredo seeks a Senior Manufacturing Technology Lead to drive investigations and integration for strategic initiatives. You will collaborate across R&D, Controls, Operations, and Engineering to deliver technology-driven projects that boost efficiency and capacity.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering and 7+ years in large-scale manufacturing, with advanced English and willingness to travel.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical or mechatronic engineering.
• 7+ years in large-scale manufacturing environments.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Able to travel frequently.
• Strong knowledge of robotics and automation systems.
• Experience commissioning and optimizing automated equipment.
• Data-driven decision making and KPI focus.
• Process design and layout planning experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technology investigations and integration for strategic manufacturing initiatives.

• Lead technology investigations and integration efforts to support strategic manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions aimed at reducing costs, increasing production capacity, and driving strategic improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Controls, Operations, and Engineering teams to align and execute technology-driven projects.
• Serve as the manufacturing lead for automation and controls, including coordination with external vendors and partners.
• Design efficient and manufacturable processes that enhance product quality, safety, yield, and cost performance.
• Resolve complex manufacturing challenges using statistical tools, DOE, A3 methodology, and critical thinking.
• Provide technical leadership in robotics, industrial controls, interfaces, and AI applications across manufacturing systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in medium to large-scale manufacturing environments.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Availability to travel frequently.
• Strong knowledge of industrial robotics and automation systems.
• Experience commissioning, validating, and optimizing automated equipment and processes.
• Strong focus on manufacturing KPIs, with experience in planning and implementing processes to meet performance goals.
• Advanced critical thinking and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in process design, including flow diagrams, floor and utility layouts, and equipment installation planning.
