Jabil in Tijuana, Mexico, seeks an experienced Injection Molding Engineer to lead development, optimization, and validation of molding processes for new and existing products. You will work with design, tooling, and production teams to ensure moldability and cost-effective manufacturing.

Minimum 7 years in injection molding engineering, strong knowledge of materials and equipment, and expertise in scientific molding and SPC data analysis are required.

Formación

• Degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in injection molding engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in injection molding processes, materials, and equipment.
• Strong mold design and tooling knowledge.
• Experience with scientific molding and process optimization.
• Proficiency in SPC and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork; English fluency.

Responsabilidades

Job Summary

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in injection molding engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in various injection molding processes, materials (e.g., thermoplastics, engineering resins), and equipment.
• Strong understanding of mold design principles, tooling technologies, and plastic part design for manufacturability.
• Experience with scientific molding principles and process optimization methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
