Job Description

Your responsibilities:

  1. Engineer with a deep interaction with plant operations but also supports department's needs.
  2. Participate in the assessment, evaluation, and planning projects where safety, ergonomics, quality, productivity, and environmental considerations are essential.
  3. Perform research and design of manufacturing processes including production flow, material handling, fabrication, and assembly.
  4. Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve production processes to reduce costs, leveraging knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials, and parts.
  5. Implement technical solutions including statistical methodologies to meet customer requirements concerning quality, delivery, and cost.
  6. Standardize processes and production methods across multiple factories to optimize operations and share best practices.
  7. Coordinate with strategic organizations to execute time-sensitive projects, maximizing manufacturing capabilities and creating resiliency.
  8. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process/maintenance technicians, operators, and team members.
  9. Work with equipment and material vendors to resolve issues.
  10. Support advanced manufacturing teams abroad in installing new tools, machines, and equipment.
  11. Develop, test, source, and cost-justify tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing improvements.
  12. Analyze products and processes for cost reduction, quality enhancement, and efficiency improvements.

You will have:

  1. Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, or related engineering field.
  2. 3 to 5 years of practical experience in injection molding operations.
  3. Diverse technical background in injection molding processing, tooling, equipment, safety, materials, manufacturing, and quality.
  4. Proficiency in English, with ability to lead operational and technical meetings.
  5. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  6. Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) approaches.
  7. Skills in AutoCAD, Moldflow, CAD software.
  8. Understanding of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and MES.
  9. Knowledge of cost and financial concepts, including CAPEX management.
  10. Leadership abilities, possibly overseeing process technicians.

Reporting to the ROS Leader.
