Job Description

Responsible for engineering support during assembly, testing, and acceptance processes, including specific process or environmental areas. Provides technical support to Operations to improve manufacturing flow using industrial and mechanical engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage industrialization deliverables for new programs as part of the program team.
2. Develop and execute industrialization plans aligned with Safran standards and goals.
3. Represent the industrialization team in meetings with customers and stakeholders.
4. Create production documentation such as BOMs, routers, and work instructions.
5. Develop cycle time and takt time standards and plans for new tooling and prototypes.
6. Analyze and manage risks during product development.
7. Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing teams to optimize production processes.
8. Coordinate with Facilities for space and support allocation.
9. Provide feedback for DFMA improvements.
10. Develop implementation schedules for new lines.
11. Maintain and report on industrialization KPIs.
12. Implement Lean principles and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
13. Support departmental and personal objectives.

Job Requirements

Competences:

• Education: Bachelor’s in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience: 3+ years in a similar role.
• Certifications: Green Belt, DMAIC (preferred).
• Languages: Fluent in English.

Skills and abilities:

• Experience in industrialization, especially in metal parts machining and CNC 5-axis.
• Knowledge of special machining processes and interpretation of technical drawings.
• Proficiency in EBOM, DFMEA, GD&T, and production routing.
• Risk management and KPI monitoring experience.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement activities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, CAD/CAM (MasterCAM, SolidWorks), SAP.
• Understanding of machining processes and manufacturing costing (desirable).
