Alstom in Sahagún, HID, MX is seeking a full-time onsite Mechanical Sub-System Engineer. You will develop and optimize mechanical sub-systems, work with design, testing and production teams, and ensure reliable, high-quality solutions across the system architecture.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience or understanding of mechanical sub-systems design and integration.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation software.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Design mechanical sub-systems in compliance with Technical Specifications and standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for mechanical solutions.
• Perform calculations and simulations to validate design choices.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design reports and specifications.
• Ensure integration of mechanical sub-systems into the overall system architecture.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities to ensure product reliability.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure product manufacturability.
• Provide technical support for problem-solving during the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project.
• Continuously improve processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
