Placements24 is seeking a Backend Software Engineer in Puebla to design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based backend services and microservices. The role focuses on scalable APIs, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ensuring performance and security of critical systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years' Java backend experience, proficiency in Spring Boot, and strong knowledge of relational DBs and message queues.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional backend development using Java.
• Proven experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM technologies.
• Familiarity with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with Git and SDLC/ Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work on-site in Puebla, Mexico.
