Placements24 is seeking a Senior Backend Software Developer to join our fast-growing tech team in Tijuana. You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using microservices, ensuring performance and reliability.

You will work with Java, Python, or Node.js, collaborate with frontend engineers, and contribute to architecture, CI/CD, and security. This role offers remote flexibility for local and international candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Proven microservices design and implementation experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js (Go or C# also acceptable).
• Strong RESTful API design and database experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative work.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
