Job summary

WhatJobs Direct is seeking an experienced Ingeniero de Soporte Remoto para Infraestructura de Red to join our cutting-edge team. This fully remote role connects you with a Toluca-based operation while you work from anywhere in Mexico.

You will diagnose and resolve complex network issues, support routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, and help maintain secure, scalable distributed networks for clients. Relevant CCNA/CCNP certifications are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science/IT.
• Minimum 4 years of network administration/engineering or advanced technical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 remote technical support for network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity, performance, and security issues.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential problems.
• Implement network configurations, updates, and patches remotely.
• Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot interdependencies.
• Develop and maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support.
• Stay current with emerging network technologies and best practices.
• Assist in network upgrade design and implementation.
