Eaton Group busca un Ingeniero de procesos de moldeo senior para el turno rotativo en Veracruz. El rol se centra en desarrollar, validar e innovar procesos de moldeo, optimizar herramientas y reducir scrap mediante acciones de ingeniería de valor y DOE.

Se requiere más de 5 años de experiencia, dominio de inglés y español, y habilidades en Minitab y SolidWorks. Se valoran trabajo en equipo, liderazgo y capacidad de gestión de proyectos.

Qualifications

• Licenciatura en Ingeniería Mecánica, Industrial, Plásticos o afines.
• Más de 5 años en posiciones similares.
• Bilingüe inglés/español.
• Experiencia en diseño de moldes y costos de tooling.
• Conocimientos en herramientas estadísticas (Minitab).

Responsibilities

• Desarrollar, validar e innovar procesos de moldeo.
• Definir y mejorar procesos de moldeo y herramientas.
• Liderar proyectos de mejora continua y DOE/RIE.

Eaton's IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Ingeniero de procesos de moldeo Sr. - Turno Rotativo.

What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Molding Process Engineer is responsible for the development, validation and innovation of new ideas, products, processes, materials and all the specific tools necessary for the molding industry in general, at an advanced engineering level. Defines and implements the functions of troubleshooting, assembly, modification, design and replacement of molds, dies and tooling; ensuring compliance with product and process specifications, maximizing efficiency in the use of resources and favorably impacting operating indicators such as: Quality, Service and Cost.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinate and participate with HPWT (High Performance Work Teams) to achieve Hive Five Metrics
• Propose and implement actions to reduce the scrap in Molding Area
• Define, develop and implement efficient molding processes
• Improve efficiency and cycle time in Molding Processes
• Leads value engineering, DOE, and RIE events to improve part cost, quality, and performance.
• Implementation and management of equipment installation, layout changes and improvements
• Training and validation of the activities of technical and operational personnel in the use of molding equipment
• Investigation of machine and mold damage, customer complaints, or production defects
• Validation of new molds and defining process parameters
• Conditioning machines or equipment designed to improve production conditions
• Plans the sequences of operations and specifies the procedures for the development of tools or equipment and other functions that affect production
• Project management
• Establish strategies / parameters for the use of team capabilities
• Process Validation for engineering changes or new products (PPAP Level 3, Use of statistical tools (Minitab)
• Knowledge of plastics and engineering resins

Qualifications:

Specialized Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering (Polymers), Tool Engineering, Related Careers
• +5 years of experience in similar positions
• Fluent in English/Spanish
• Cost Out projects experience
• Solving Problem techniques (5 Why's, 8D's, etc.)
• Using statistical tools (Minitab)
• Project management
• Scientific Molding (Master Molder 1)
• Solid Works, Mold design
• Molding Process
• Resins (Polymers)
