Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Process Engineer in Mexico to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for existing and new products. You will lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to improve productivity and efficiency.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 5–8 years of manufacturing/process engineering experience.
  • Experience with new product launches and continuous improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and standard MS Office tools.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for current and new products.
  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving initiatives to improve throughput and reduce waste.
  • Conduct time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and workflow optimization.
  • Create and maintain process documentation including PFMEA, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Support NPIs, product transfers, and engineering changes.
  • Monitor OEE, scrap, yield, cycle time, and productivity, driving improvements.

The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives, new product introductions, capacity expansion projects, and process standardization to ensure operational excellence.

Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes for existing and new products.

Analyze and optimize production processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and resource utilization.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies.

Conduct time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and workflow optimization.

Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, PFMEA, and standard operating procedures.

Define equipment, tooling, fixtures, and automation requirements to support manufacturing operations.

Support new product introduction (NPI), product transfers, and engineering changes.

Monitor and improve key manufacturing metrics, including OEE, scrap, yield, cycle time, and productivity.

Provide technical support to production teams to resolve process-related issues and improve operational performance.

Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Product Engineering teams to achieve business objectives.

Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to quality and production issues.

Evaluate and implement cost reduction and capacity improvement opportunities.

What will help you thrive in this role?

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing/process engineering role.

Experience with new product launches, process development, and continuous improvement projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
