The Opportunity

Avantor is seeking a Data Management & Analytics Engineer at the Mexico City, MX location.

The Data Management & Analytics Engineer works under general supervision, assisting in the design and development of data storage systems, processes, and enhancements for the company's complex high-traffic, business-critical internet site communications and/or network-based (cloud) product systems. Responsibilities include designing enterprise storage environments, implementing new storage technologies, and supporting infrastructure improvements.

The Opportunity:

The Data Management & Analytics Engineer is responsible for Product, Customer, and Vendor Master integrations, process improvement projects, and stakeholder communication. The role involves executing integrations, feasibility studies, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or GED required
• Experience: Advanced to expert-level experience in Microsoft Excel
• Work experience as a Superuser in Integrations, MM, or relevant areas (Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, Logistics)
• Minimum 3 years in a corporate/multinational environment (preferably 3-5 years)
• Logical thinking, process analysis, and standardization skills
• Fluent in English and Spanish (B2 level required, C1 preferred)
• Advanced SAP knowledge in SAP modules MM, SD/SCM/LO
• Good communication and team spirit in an international setting
• Interest in large data sets and analytics
• Initiative and ownership in projects and process improvements
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• 1 year experience in Master Data is a plus

• Collaborate with stakeholders and IT, set timelines
• Map external data to SAP systems, ensure timely project implementation
• Monitor integration progress and deliverables

• Provide expertise in project management, SAP modules, scope, risks, and resources
• Analyze data to identify root causes of issues
• Define requirements, create test cases, and execute SAP testing
