Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of building and managing data pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Scala.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Data Factory).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration in a hybrid setting in Saltillo.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions.
• Optimize data systems for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements.
