Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an applied cryptography engineer for our San Luis Potosí facility to develop cryptographic techniques for blockchain and decentralized apps. You will research, design, and implement advanced protocols in a collaborative research environment.

The role requires a PhD or Master’s in cryptography or security, 5+ years of related experience, and proficiency in Rust, C++, or Go, with experience in formal verification and blockchain cryptography.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Cryptography, CS (Security/Cryptography) or related field.
• 5+ years of research and development in applied cryptography.
• Strong understanding of modern cryptographic concepts and primitives.
• Experience with cryptographic libraries and systems programming languages.
• Familiarity with blockchain cryptography and formal verification methods.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement advanced cryptographic algorithms and protocols.
