Hutchinson Group in Guanajuato is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead assembly group quality activities and customer responses, ensuring compliance with IATF16949 and internal quality processes. You will oversee lab operations, support APQP and Design Review related to molding, and drive continuous improvement across the team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, advanced English, and a technical degree in industrial/chemical/mechanical engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Lead 8D investigations and customer response.
• Supervise lab group as quality lead.
• Act as customer point of contact for the assembly group quality.
• ISO/TS 16949 Internal Quality System Audit management.
• Participate in APQP meetings and Design Review activity related to the molding process.
• Layered Process Audit management.
• Train or coordinate the training of departmental personnel to perform their job responsibilities in a proficient manner.
• Knowledge and practice of Hutchinson’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements.
• Monitor hold cage and material disposition.
• Data collection for metric reporting.
• Continuous improvement team member.
• Review customer portals for site status.
• Other duties as assigned.
