IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, seeks an Investment Analyst to join the Latin America and the Caribbean Infrastructure Unit in Mexico City. The appointee will report to the Regional Lead for Infrastructure and work on sourcing, financial modeling, and portfolio monitoring for infrastructure investments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years in financial analysis, fluency in English and Spanish, and willingness to travel as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Finance, Business, or Economics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial institution or related field with financial analysis.
• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in infrastructure-related projects and project finance a plus.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Support sourcing and assessment of new opportunities and bankable projects.
• Create and analyze financial models and support structuring of transactions.
• Review financial statements and prepare reports on progress and performance.
• Conduct market research, pricing benchmarks, and due diligence.
• Prepare documentation for IFC internal processes and negotiations.
• Monitor investments and portfolio compliance with financial, environmental, insurance, and legal requirements.
• Prepare high-quality reports identifying risks, issues, and mitigants.
