ALTEN Mexico is seeking an Intermediate System Requirements Engineer – Infotainment Subsystem to bridge Design & Release Engineers and System Architects, translating regulatory and technical needs into clear requirements for hardware and software in vehicle infotainment.

The role emphasizes requirements elicitation with stakeholders, use of IBM DOORS, RTC, and JIRA, and participation in the SDLC including DFMEA, with CarPlay and Android Auto integration as key focus areas.

Formación

• University degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Systems, Software or Telecommunications Engineering.
• 8 years of requirements definition, management, and elicitation.
• 8 years of IBM DOORS requirements management.
• 5 years of RTC workflow control.
• 6 years of JIRA usage.
• 8 years of SDLC experience.
• 8 years of HW/SW diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• 8 years of Systems Engineering methodologies.
• 8 years of CAN/LIN knowledge.
• 8 years of embedded systems experience.
• 8 years of DFMEA analysis.
• 8 years of DFSS knowledge.
• 2-4 years of CATIA V5 experience.
• 4 years of Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration.
• 4 years of Python or C/C++ scripting.
• 4 years of vehicle safety regulations knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Write, update, and maintain technical requirements for the Infotainment subsystem throughout production.
• Conduct requirements elicitation through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Utilize IBM DOORS for requirements management and traceability.
• Perform system requirements analysis and support design of infotainment hardware and software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware–software integration.
• Identify and resolve hardware and software system failures using diagnostics tools.
• Manage workflows and issues using RTC and JIRA across the SDLC.
• Perform DFMEA to identify and mitigate design risks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.
