Job summary

PPG Hermosillo site is seeking a Production Operator to support daily manufacturing activities. You will set up equipment, run production lines, and ensure machines operate safely and efficiently to meet quality standards.

You will also maintain and inspect equipment, assist junior operators, perform repairs when needed, and help move equipment between areas. A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production equipment is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Willingness to assist junior operators and perform basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Set up production equipment and supplies before job orders.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
• Maintain equipment in good and safe condition.
• Inspect equipment for replacements, malfunctions and repairs.
• Perform regular maintenance to ensure capacity and quality.
• Provide assistance to junior operators in assigned tasks.
• Repair and clean equipment when needed.
• Evaluate equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Operate trucks and industrial vehicles to move equipment between areas.
