Jabil in Mexico is seeking an Industrial Engineer I to support planning, design, and management of production and service delivery systems to ensure performance and cost control. The role focuses on studies to determine efficient sequences, layout optimization, and use of equipment and personnel to maximize utilization.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements, monitor quality and safety, and help meet schedule adherence.

Formación

• Experience applying industrial engineering tools to improve efficiency.
• Ability to analyze processes and develop layout/workstation improvements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and improve daily quality/efficiency for assigned areas.
• Design and procure tooling, equipment, and workstations.
• Coordinate layout and workstation moves.
• Prepare time estimates for proposed projects.
• Minimize changeover time with common setups.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is on schedule.
• Reduce scrap by monitoring data and acting.
• Analyze workforce utilization and production data to optimize resources.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
