Genpact is seeking an experienced Edge/IoT integration engineer to design and deploy secure, scalable ingestion pipelines from plant systems to cloud platforms. You will build reusable edge blueprints, integrate PLC/DCS/SCADA via OPC-UA and MQTT, and ensure low-latency data transfer with robust retry and provisioning.

You will work across Purdue-model DMZ zones, lead commissioning, and map plant tags to canonical assets with the Semantic Architecture team.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with AWS IoT Greengrass and AWS IoT SiteWise.
• Experience building containerised applications with Docker for edge deployment.
• Knowledge of OPC-UA, MQTT and historian connectors.
• Programming in Python or Node.js for edge components.
• Experience designing buffering and offline-tolerant data pipelines.
• AWS IoT Core experience alongside Greengrass and SiteWise.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, CS or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Develop ingestion services using AWS IoT SiteWise, IoT Greengrass and AWS IoT Core, including device registry, policies and message routing.
• Deliver OT/IT integration and data ingestion for plants, bridging controller, SCADA and historian systems to the cloud securely.
• Produce deployable edge and local application blueprints for new plants and lines.
• Develop edge ingestion services using AWS IoT Greengrass and AWS IoT SiteWise.
• Implement the standardized edge-to-cloud data pipeline with consistent naming, timestamps, units and quality codes.
• Integrate with PLC/DCS and SCADA systems via OPC-UA, MQTT or historian interfaces; configure device connectivity and telemetry collection.
• Ensure resilient, low-latency transfer from OT to cloud with buffering and retry policies.
• Gauge throughput and latency per site; monitor ingestion health and device status.
• Build containerized apps for on-premise deployment and manage images, configuration and secrets.
