Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an Edge Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support next-gen Edge and IoT solutions linking industrial devices to cloud platforms. You will build scalable Python applications, work with MQTT, Modbus and OPC UA, and deploy on AWS/Azure/GCP using Docker and Kubernetes.

Production support and L3 troubleshooting are part of the role. You will join a global Agile team, contribute to solution design, and continuously expand expertise in edge computing and cloud-native tech

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in developing edge applications in Python, C, C++.
• Solid understanding of IoT, protocols such as MQTT, AMQP, Modbus, OPC UA, and security.
• Experience implementing IoT solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficient with Linux and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Agile methodologies; Git versioning.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development and integration testing; self-starter.
