A leading automotive manufacturer in Toluca is seeking an Industrial Engineer to eliminate waste in manufacturing processes and improve product quality. Responsibilities include developing production schedules, analyzing workflow, and providing technical support. Candidates should possess a relevant engineering degree and have 1-3 years of experience. Intermediate English skills are required. This is a temporary position with a focus on continuous improvement.
What You'll Do?
As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for eliminating waste of time, money, materials, person-hours, machine time, energy, and other resources that do not generate value. The position will develop, recommend, and implement changes that will result in the improvement of manufacturing processes and/or product quality. This is a temporary position.
Responsibilities
Develop, status, and analyze Manufacturing Master Schedules in sufficient detail to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner.
Use critical path methodology and application in network development, analysis, and problem resolution.
Optimize sequence of operations and workflow.
Create crew plans to ensure resources are properly allocated and utilized effectively.
Create metrics to monitor schedule progress and help identify risk areas.
Work to improve efficiencies through waste elimination and process improvements.
Perform data analysis to establish shop metrics and tackle complex problems.
Provide technical support and assistance to manufacturing and maintenance team members, production supervisors, and production associates.
Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
Bachelor’s Degree: Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, or related experience.
Required experience in a similar position: from 1 to 3 years.
English Level: Intermediate.
Key Skills: Knowledge in layout management, ergonomics, and continuous improvement tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Effective decision-making, leadership, and proactivity.
