Amphenol TCS de México, S.A. de C.V. seeks an Industrial Engineer to collaborate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and NPI teams, driving activities that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and scalability for high-speed cable and backplane assembly operations.

You will develop labor standards, perform line balancing, and create capacity models to optimize labor, equipment, and space while leading Kaizen initiatives. Strong English and Spanish communication are essential.

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field is required.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments with electronics/cable assemblies is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
Proficient in Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, standard work) and cost-reduction efforts.
Advanced Excel skills and data visualization with Power BI are desirable.

Responsabilidades

Develop and maintain labor standards via time studies and standardized work.
Perform line balancing, staffing analysis, and workstation optimization.
Create capacity models for labor, equipment, and space; identify bottlenecks.
Design production layouts and material-flow concepts to improve efficiency.
Lead kaizen and continuous-improvement initiatives with measurable results.
Support EVT/DVT/PVT and manufacturing transfer activities and align with global standards.
Maintain master data, routings, and standard times; develop dashboards to monitor productivity.
Evaluate opportunities for fixtures, automation, and error-proofing.
