Job Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

As the Industrial Engineer, you will analyze various production processes to identify areas for improvement in both the process and working conditions. You will determine the flow and handling of materials within the plant and warehouses to ensure safety and efficiency.

Your main responsibilities include:

1. Identify efficiency problems in production processes
2. Identify unsuitable working conditions
3. Identify lifting problems for parts in process
4. Identify issues in the movement of parts between workstations
5. Identify lifting problems in raw materials
6. Identify problems in raw material movement
7. Assess time and movements in production processes
8. Coordinate process changes with manufacturing engineering
9. Document changes and update databases
10. Define workstations with optimal conditions
11. Design layout changes considering machinery and peripheral equipment
12. Analyze material flow across work areas and the entire plant
13. Prepare templates for new machinery and equipment installation
14. Analyze and propose distribution of work areas for capacity expansion or transfer projects
15. Define containers, pallets, or other handling methods for raw materials and parts
16. Establish protections and safeguards for handling finished products and raw materials
17. Define methods and equipment for safe lifting of parts and raw materials
18. Analyze and document packaging methods to maintain product quality
19. Participate as an auditor in the plant's 5S audit program
20. Coordinate 5S audits and kaizen events with relevant teams
21. Participate in the Latin American Operational Excellence Committee's audits

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Intermediate English skills
• 3 to 6 months of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Time and Motion studies, Industrial Safety, or Advanced Statistics
