Position Purpose

Propose changes in layout and/or new processes. Apply and implement lean manufacturing techniques on continuous improvement projects. Conduct safety and ergonomics analyses on all processes. Follow internal and external quality standards. Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes. Coordinate equipment delivery to production. Conduct activities to ensure customer satisfaction.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

• Blueprint Reading (electrical or structural).
• Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows environment, Visual Basic, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Project, CAS Software, Solumina).
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience with management simulation software (Delmia Quest, Delmia Human, iGrafx, e-tools, preferably Pro Timer).
• Experience with design management software (Catia V5).
• Project management skills.
• Customer service attitude.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements

• U.S. visa (passport).
• Experience in interpreting specifications.
• English proficiency (85% advanced spoken and written).
• Schedule flexibility.
