Job summary

Carrier is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize our manufacturing processes across multiple shifts, driving standard work, line balancing, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and support NPI activities in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 1–2 years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with line balancing, process optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience supporting assembly operations and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication and metal‑mechanics manufacturing processes.
  • Experience implementing standard work and manufacturing cell design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Advanced conversational English.
  • Availability to rotate across all three shifts (day, evening, and night).
  • Automotive industry experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.

  • Provide engineering support to assembly operations and production teams.
  • Analyze operational data and develop solutions to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput.
  • Support workflow optimisation and manufacturing process standardisation.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve process-related issues.
  • Prepare reports, metrics, and recommendations to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing practices throughout manufacturing operations.

About the Role

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes through line balancing, continuous improvement initiatives, standard work implementation, and New Product Introduction (NPI) support.
