Daimler Truck México is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, implement and support industrial control and automation systems across the plant, including PLCs, HMIs/SCADA, robotics and OT infrastructure. You will work to improve production reliability, efficiency and safety while supporting digitalization initiatives.
The role requires strong collaboration with Manufacturing, Maintenance and IT/OT teams, adherence to DTNA standards, risk management and a proactive approach to
Formación
- PLC programming and troubleshooting with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/GuardLogix
- HMI/SCADA development using FactoryTalk View or Ignition
- Industrial networks and OT cybersecurity fundamentals
Responsabilidades
- Design, develop and maintain industrial automation systems including PLCs, HMIs/SCADA and robotics
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, IT/OT and project teams to define automation requirements and ensure DTNA standards
- Configure and troubleshoot industrial networks and OT infrastructure, ensure cybersecurity and data integrity
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation and standards for automation systems
- Support data acquisition, OPC communications and industrial databases for production applications
- Provide root-cause analysis and corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
