Overview

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Indirect Procurement team. This role involves providing exceptional customer support, supporting supplier onboarding and maintenance and supplier enablement processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of procurement processes, attention to details, and the ability to deliver top-notch customer service.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service to internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues related to supplier onboarding and procurement processes.
• Onboard new suppliers ensuring compliance with company policies, SOX compliance and standards. Ensure master data is accurate among the applications and database.
• Process supplier update requests with precision, ensuring that updated tax documents are collected when necessary and that critical updates are validated effectively.
• Support quarterly SOX and Compliance testing cycle in a timely manner.
• Perform periodic supplier clean up activities and UAT testing.
• Provide support for supplier enablement program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and offer effective solutions.
• Create purchase requisition on behalf of the requesters and coordinate purchasing activities. Ensure required documents and agreements are obtained and in compliance with company guidelines.
• Collaborate with the stakeholders to ensure their purchase orders are maintained throughout the lifecycle of the purchase orders.
• Perform effective root cause analysis and issue resolution when supplier on-boarding or purchase requisition approval delay occurs.
• Execute duties with minimal guidance and show strong initiative on process improvement and documentation practices.
  
  

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience (3-5) in procurement, with a focus on customer support, supplier on-boarding and managing purchasing buyer activities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement, supplier management and accounts payable processes
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and highly self-motivated.
• Exhibits a sense of urgency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
