With over 13,000 boats worldwide depending on Böning technology, the company has established a strong presence in monitoring, control, and automation systems. Established in 2015, Böning Ship Automation USA offers products, services, and installation specifically for the North American market.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role, with some work from home allowed for an Independent Sales Development Representative. The primary responsibilities include generating leads, handling inside sales, and performing business development tasks. The role also involves establishing and maintaining excellent communication with potential and existing clients, and driving sales growth for Böning Ship Automation USA in the Mexican market.
Qualifications
Desired Skills and Experience
- Must have: 3 years or more of B2B sales experience with electric/electronic equipment for yachts and commercial vessels.
- Must have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals and building strong customer relationships
- Must have: strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively
- Must have: Bachelor's degree, ideally in engineering, or some technical discipline (electric / electronics / automation)
- Must have: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Experience with boat electronics and electrical drawings (CAD)
- Entrepreneur profile
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Self-driven, proactive, and can work independently, with a strong sense of accountability and a results-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Available for frequent travel, including overnight travel and driving a car
- Interested in working in a fast-paced, multicultural, and multilingual environment
