Teleflex, a leader in medical technologies, seeks a Logistics Coordinator responsible for inbound logistics management including customs and transportation processes. The ideal candidate will have a BS or BA and 1-2 years of relevant experience, contributing to quality and process improvements in the healthcare sector.

Formación

  • 1-2 years experience in coordinating international shipments, customs processes.
  • Familiarity with FDA, GMP, ISO quality requirements is preferred.

  • Monitor KPIs related to inbound logistics.

Position Summary

Coordinates inbound logistics activities including, goods receipt processing, inbound transportation, reverse logistics, customs clearance and supports warehouse and outbound activities.

• Quality - Demonstrates initiative and critical thinking to analyze challenges develop solutions and institutionalize the SOP compliance and practices to deliver the highest quality products and results.
• Service – Drive continuous improvement of Teleflex L&D processes, ensuring efficient and compliant processes are in place that deliver high impact value while protecting TFX interests.
• Value - Demonstrates initiative and critical thinking to analyze cost issues develop solutions and deliver improving results.
• Exemplifies Teleflex values and ensures a fair, open and productive climate. Serves as a leader to leverage and institutionalize CI thought processes. Ensures an ethical and legally compliant atmosphere.
• Coordinates the inbound logistics and transportation processes.
• Follows up of customs clearance activities within Latin America.
• Coordinates reverse logistics.
• Responsible for inbound logistics budget portion.
• Responsible for inbound KPIs results.
• Supports L&D financial activities (invoice review, rates analysis, payment requests, etc.)
• Supports outbound, transportation, warehouse, and inbound logistics processes.
• Supports global, regional, and local Teleflex initiatives.
• Supports other functional areas within Teleflex through joint projects.
• Supports overall global, regional and local Teleflex market growth.
• Promotes and seeks for process improvement opportunities that drive better cost and better service.

Education / Experience Requirements

• BS or BA degree in International Business, International Commerce, Logistics or a related field
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years professional experience in coordinating international shipments, customs or transportation processes (preferably with a medical device manufacturer or large manufacturing-based organization)
• Preferable familiar with FDA, GMP, and ISO quality system requirements for a diverse medical device manufacturer.
