About the role of the In Room Dining Coordinator:

The In Room Dining Coordinator is responsible for answering phone calls and taking room service orders professionally and courteously. This role requires strong communication skills, customer service focus, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. The coordinator ensures guests receive an exceptional in-room dining experience.

What you will do:

  • Answer calls and take orders accurately, noting special requests and dietary restrictions, and communicate these to the kitchen and delivery staff.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including specials and preparation times, and provide recommendations to guests.
  • Enter orders into the system accurately, confirm details with guests, and relay orders promptly to the kitchen and delivery staff.
  • Address special requests, track order progress, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Process payments and issue receipts, ensuring correct billing to guest accounts.

What you bring:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
  • At least 2 years of experience in In-Room Dining, Guest Experience, or Call Center environments.
  • Preferred experience in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality setting.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and familiarity with POS systems like Micros.
