A leading company in Tijuana is seeking an Import/Export Analyst Compliance to oversee logistics and ensure compliance with customs regulations for their maquiladora operation. This role will focus on managing documentation, performing audits, and coordinating with customs brokers to ensure seamless import and export activities within the framework of the USMCA.

Formación

  • 3+ years experience in the position.
  • 50% English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of Import/Export Law and HTS Code classification.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Import/Export Analyst Compliance to manage international logistics, customs processes, and trade compliance for our IMMEX-registered maquiladora operation. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and finished products across borders while maintaining full compliance with Mexican customs regulations and U.S.-Mexico trade agreement

  • Make invoices (import & export) in I-xport System
  • Online and virtual requirements
  • KPI Knowledge
  • Internal and External reports Internal Archives
  • Coordinate daily imports.
  • Prepare the necessary documentation to carry out the operations before Customs (MX-US)
  • Correct application of tariff preferences.
  • Coordinate Inter-maquila operations (Virtual Operations)
  • Active Fixed Audits.
  • Management and control of external transporters.
  • Management and Control of internal files related to Foreign Trade.
  • Coordination with Customs Broker to carry out operations.
  • Application Permits Rule 8th and Balance control.
  • Management and Control of Certificates of Origin (UMSCA).
  • Imports process operations (inbound).
  • Knowledge for the correct HTS Code classification.

· Maintain records and ensure compliance with Mexican customs law, U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), and other applicable trade agreements.

· Perform internal audits of customs entries, ensure correct duty payments, and correct discrepancies.

· Identify potential customs risks or inefficiencies and propose corrective actions.

· 3+ years Experienced in the position.

· Bachelor’s degree in business or Customs

· Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

· 50% English proficiency (written and verbal)

· Project Management skills
