Job summary

Bright Machines, Inc. in Guadalajara seeks a Trade Compliance Analyst to own the IMMEX program and customs inventory control. You will ensure Mexican compliance, track temporarily imported materials, and maintain audit readiness.

Responsibilities include VUCEM filings, Annex 24/30/31 management, NetSuite reconciliation, and coordination with the customs broker. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in trade compliance or foreign trade within an IMMEX manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with Annex 24, 30, and 31.
• Knowledge of the IMMEX Decree, Ley Aduanera, and VAT/IEPS certification requirements.
• Experience reconciling customs records with ERP data and physical inventory.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own the IMMEX program, including VUCEM filings, registrations, and stay timeframes.
• Manage Annex 24, 30, and 31 customs inventory control, including imports/exports.
• Reconcile customs records with NetSuite and physical inventory; resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor VAT and IEPS certification requirements, renewals, and thresholds.
• Review and validate customs documentation prepared by the broker.
• Maintain documents and ensure SAT audit readiness; report open balances.
