IBT STXP Logistics Specialist. Manages transportation route definition and implementation of productive parts and rack/containers for Saltillo Light Duty plant.

Works with Carriers and logistics service providers to ensure timely and proper delivery, window pick up/delivery compliance, cubic loading compliance, etc. Metrics analysis and action implementation to improve that performance is key to this position.

The IBT Logistics Specialist works along with Carrier Development to monitor and ensure carrier and logistics providers compliance with Stellantis procedures and policies.

Works closely with the assigned 3PL group to ensure transportation routings are created and with Carrier Development to launch carriers and services. Supports program launches and pilot shipping working along with the Logistics New Model team.

The specialist will work with Purchasing to ensure the routings created by the Transportation designed by the LLP gets carriers assigned according to capacity needed, making sure that POs are in the eLEEN system.

The IB Specialist is responsible for overseeing JIT calls held for lanes and scheduled delivery times for both material and containers are correctly uploaded in LEEN window times.

The IBT Specialist is also the first contact of MLM at plants for Logistics operation and concerns, looking for solutions with Purchasing, Carrier Development, or other areas involved.

Basic Qualifications:

1. 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, Materials Handling, or Customs.
2. English: Fluent conversation and business level writing.
3. Analytic and problem-solving skills.
4. Able to work in a team and collaborate with other teams.
5. Industrial Engineering, Logistics, and/or International Trade major.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, Materials Handling, or Customs.
2. English: Fluent conversation and business level writing.
3. Analytic and problem-solving skills.
4. Able to work in a team and collaborate with other teams.
5. Industrial Engineering, Logistics, and/or International Trade major.
6. Good communication, organization, and planning skills.
7. Route analysis experience is a plus.
