Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Hydrogeologist and Water Resources Engineer for employment in Mexico City, Mexico. The role involves supporting design and analysis for stormwater, hydrology and hydraulics, with opportunities to work across multiple offices and teams.

You will use MicroStation, AutoCAD and GIS tools, contribute to reports and permitting, and have travel for field work and client meetings. Bachelor's in Geology or Civil Engineering with 8+ years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geology or Civil Engineering with 8+ years of related experience.
Experience with water resources design software (StormCAD, HydroCAD, PondPak, HEC-RAS).
Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS; ability to perform field inspections and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis.

Responsibilities

Assist in stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, roadway drainage design and permitting.
Develop preliminary to final design calculations and drawings.
Review field information and inspect existing stormwater facilities.
Prepare technical reports and permitting applications.
Utilize MicroStation, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS/HMS and other design software.
Perform GIS analyses to support engineering and technical services.
Travel for agency/client meetings and field work as required.
Provide support to a diverse team across multiple offices.
