Job summary

AECOM México is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a Data Center project. The role involves performing detailed calculations, inspecting installations, and ensuring design conformance and safety. Proficiency with AutoCAD is required to support engineering tasks and testing.

The candidate should have 4+ years of relevant experience and will participate in design and supervision of electrical systems, contributing to project quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Electrical engineer or equivalent with 4+ years of demonstrated experience and/or education.
• Preferred: Experience in design and supervision of low and medium voltage installations for industrial projects, power supplies for static and dynamic equipment, protections, grounding systems, ducting, cable trays, trenching, code-compliant enclosures, hi-pot tests, megger tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
• Inspect facilities and monitor operations to verify compliance with design specs and safety standards.
• Use AutoCAD to perform engineering tasks.
• Support the fabrication department in development and testing of products.
• Ensure quality of ongoing projects.
• Keep up to date with latest electrical engineering innovations.
